Sedation dentistry is used to provide a relaxing and anxiety - free experience for certain piople receiving dental treatment, it enables individuals too afraid to go to the dentist to receive the dental care they need whilst avoiding the common apprehension known as dental phobia. It can also help those who have a severe gag reflex and are unable to tolerate dental treatment.
For patients wishing to seek treatment under sedation an initial consultation appointment must be arranged. Dr Whelan and his team will assess you for suitability for treatment under sedation and discuss your treatment options. Following this appointment a sedation treatment session can be booked. A deposit is required to secure the appointment.
